Flight Arrangements
Mangwa recommends that you use a travel agent
who specialises in African travel, as well as in
arrangements required for hunters. Mangwa
Hunting Safaris personally meets and collects all
clients from OR Tambo Airport.
Passport and Visas
South Africa requires no Visa, but does require a
passport.
Trophies
Mangwa Hunting Safaris will make all arrangements
and prepare documentation for you.
Bow Hunting
Bow hunting is welcomed. Please let us know prior to
arrival if you intend on using a bow. No permit is
required.
Wing Shooting (Bird
Hunting)
For all the wing shooting enthusiasts, South Africa
has phenomenal wing shooting options. Guinea
Fowl, Pheasants, Francolins and Egyptian Goose.
Firearms and Ammunition
Bring a bolt action or a double rifle. For Buffalo, Rhino
and Elephant, we recommend a calibre of 300 or 30-06.
For dangerous game we recommend 40 full metal-
jacket cartridges and 4 soft-point cartridges. Bring a
soft case for your firearm for use in transportation
between hunting destinations.
